Famous Duncan Opera House is located in the northeast crook of the sixth lane in the city. There was a declination in the popularity of railroads in the middle of the 20th century. During this time, the population of the city remained constant. Even after the collaboration of two towns, the enmity between the school districts did not terminate and they kept themselves separated from each-other.

The museums and libraries of Las Vegas are the major resources which define the beauty of the town related to the field of art and literature. Famous C. Donnelly library is located in New Mexico Highlands University. This library can tell everything related to the community activities, researches and teaching structure of the university. Another famous Carnegie Library was established in 1904. It was named after a humanitarian Andrew Carnegie who donated $10,000 for building this library at that time. The constructive features of the building bear a resemblance to the popular Monticello of Thomas Jefferson.

Las Vegas is a city that is famous all over the world for its casinos and gambling. It is famed to be a place that is young in the night.
